It's been raining almost non-stop here since the wee hours of the morning Saturday morning with a slight break Sunday afternoon. Today has been non-stop rain and I have to say I'm ready for some sunshine. Three days of no sun and I feel like I should break out the vitamin D supplements.
Maybe I should learn from the birds I've seen and heard today, though. Maybe I should be do my best to still "sing" during the rain even though all I want to do is sleep. I've found it quite odd that I have seen and heard so many birds this weekend and today all during the rain. This little guy I caught at the drive-thru at McDonalds at lunch today. He was just sitting atop the sign singing his little heart out. Lucky for me I had my camera in the seat beside me. I tried to get one of the red bird I've seen in my yard all weekend, but he's just too quick and shy for me.
So for today's photo – bird in rain. Now off to cook dinner (and find those vitamin D supplements).
