my son is getting most of the values we are trying to instill in him. On the way home from church tonight he asks if we are going to his grandparents’ (my parents’) for Christmas again this year. I tell him we will and he says "Oh, good! I loved giving the presents out to everyone. That was my favorite part of Christmas." Of course then he says he’ll give the first present to his favorite person and we ask him who that is to which he points to himself and announces "me" with a huge grin and a laugh. He is only 6 years old after all.
