Hello! I took last week off from the blog to enjoy Spring Break time with my Squirt. Now I have to gear myself up for getting back into the routine. After a lazy week it may take some readjusting. Today will be overloaded with 2 weeks worth of my photos a day.
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 – I might be the kind of mother who bakes cookies right before dinner and lets her kiddo have one before his dinner.
Wednesday, March 10, 2010 – I’m such a procrastinator. I made this top for myself at the end of last summer and I am just now sewing the buttons on. Sewing buttons on is my least favorite part of sewing.
Thursday, March 11, 2010 – Kiddo is learning so much on the guitar. He loves to strum it really fast so I wanted to get a photo of the blurred motion of his hand that I see when he plays.
Friday, March 12, 2010 – A rare afternoon of blue sky. It has rained so much the past 6 months that I feel like we rarely see the sun and a blue sky.
Saturday, March 13, 2010 – R.A. Race Day. A day the Squirt looks forward to all year. He decided to paint his car with this stone colored paint. It turned out really cool looking, but unfortunately he didn’t win any of the rounds he raced in. Poor guy.
Sunday, March 14, 2010 – After church we left for Chatanooga for a couple of days. After checking in at our hotel we found the Chatanooga Choo-Choo. We walked around and also visited the model train museum there which Squirt loved.
Monday, March 15, 2010 – We had a full day in Chatanooga. We visited Ruby Falls, Rock City, the Incline Railway and the Tennessee Aquarium. Of course the views from Rock City were amazing and I had to get a photo of Sam on the 7 states part.
Tuesday, March 16, 2010 – Before leaving Chatanooga we went across the river to the Nortshore area. We wandered around this little park where I got some photos of the bridges and aquarium.
Wednesday, March 17, 2010 – Winn Dixie was having some great Buy One Get One Free items this week that we eat. My total was $78 with my savings being close to $60. If I’d only had some coupons to use I could have saved more.
Thursday, March 18, 2010 – Our oldest nephew was in heaven getting to break in the new Sea-Doo Papa bought for the lake. A huge grin plastered itself on his face for 3 days.
Friday, March 19, 2010 – I visited St. Michael’s & All Angels, a historic church in my home county, when I went up to pick Squirt up from my parents. Such a beautiful old church. More to come in a future post. And yes, the sky was that blue that day. This photo is straight out of camera.
Saturday, March 20, 2010 – When our oldest nephew and niece came to the lake for a few days of Spring Break I realized our niece, who isn’t quite 14, is now taller than me. When did that happen?
Sunday, March 20, 2010 – A blurred photo, but when our Nemo gets a new toy she will play fetch for so long and all you see is a blur of her as she runs.
