A neighborhood with wide open spaces calls. Each season new joys reveal themselves. I have only a few minutes before school dismisses, but a few minutes is better than none so I take my camera to see what I can find. These flat white wildflowers appear alongside roads after the red clover faded away. I hope for these as my subject on this afternoon. And they were. Except God had another little joy waiting that I almost missed.
I only intended to capture these white flowers, but then I noticed these odd purple ones. As I raised camera to eyes I saw it. This tiniest of purple butterflies ever so slowly moving its wings then hopping to another flower.
What little joys have you found, but almost missed recently?
