I met Katie a few years ago through her step-mother. Katie is originally from here where I live. When I started getting into photography her step-mom gave me her number because she does photography where she lives. I finally met Katie in person when I headed up to Nashville for a scrapbooking event a few years ago and we've been keeping in touch via Facebook and our blogs ever since.
This past year Katie and her husband and sons started on the adoption journey feeling God leading them to Ethiopia to adopt. You can read more about their adoption journey here on her blog.

In a few short weeks they will be bringing home their new son. As most of you know adoption is an expensive endeavor and my friend Katie needs our help. They will be traveling back to Ethiopia in soon to bring home their new son.
