I’m sitting here listening to the thunderstorm and the rain. I love rain and storms when they come at night. Not so much during the day when I could have sunshine, but at night it’s wonderful.
Yesterday just before we were pulling into our driveway we saw a turtle in the road just a foot or so from the bottom of our yard. DS yells for me to stop as we turn in our driveway. He hops out and runs to move the turtle out of the road while I’m yelling at him to make sure he looks to see if any cars are coming. He stops and looks and then goes out to pick up the turtle and moves him into our yard. Of course my little point and shoot that I normally have with me was sitting inside the house. I’m so proud that he wanted to make sure the turtle got to safety.
