Look what I got…

My mom crocheted this for me. She’s very talented when it comes to sewing, smocking and crocheting. I’ve learned to smock and sew although not nearly as well as she can, but crocheting I’m not sure I can ever learn. Maybe one day. But at least I get great things like this. 🙂

On the exercise front, I’m doing well. The 21 day challenge I gave myself really made a huge difference. The exercise has become a habit, but I’m realizing it is something that I will continually have to motivate myself to do. I could easily fall out of the habit. It’s been 2 weeks since my 21 day challenge ended and I’ve exercised at least 4 or 5 times a week since. For me I have to change it up. One day I’ll walk and the next I’ll do a workout video that combines weights and cardio. I think I have a touch of ADD. I get bored really easily with things so changing it up is a necessity.  The challenge is going to be when school begins in a couple of weeks. Motivating myself to get out of bed earlier so I can get home and showered and get ready for the day. I would much rather get it done early in the morning than to wait and do it after school. If I’m not substituting I could get it done as soon as I drop DS off at school, but I substitue a lot so that would become more and more difficult as the year progresses. I think getting up early is the best thing to do. We’ll see how it goes.
