Another week of photos capturing our days.
Monday, June 28, 2010 – Squirt played in the junior golf tournament Monday and Tuesday of this week. We also went down to the lake Monday afternoon to see our oldest nephew and took them tubing. It was so windy out that they went airborn a few times and fell off.
Tuesday, June 29, 2010 – I was supposed to have a photo session this afternoon, but a bad storm blew up and the lightning kept us from shooting, but I had to get a photo of the church steeple against the dark storm clouds before the rain started.
Wednesday, June 30, 2010 – I actually have blooms on these flowers I’ve grown from seeds. I have never been able to grow anything from seeds so this makes me happy.
Thursday, July 1, 2010 – Yes, more flowers. I planted this little gardenia bush in a big pot early in the spring. I wasn’t sure it would have blooms this year, but when I walked out to water the flowers I was so excited to find blooms. Gardenia’s are my favorite flower.
Friday, July 2, 2010 – I managed to find some time to make some homemade blueberry muffins witht he blueberries I bought at the farmer’s market. I was going to try this recipe, but didn’t have the right ingredients for the topping so I’m planning on trying it next time.
Saturday, July 3, 2010 – We went down to my husband’s uncle and aunt’s cabin on the lake to see them and their daughter and her family. While we were there we had a little birthday party for her son who just turned 1. I was so proud of Squirt for playing so well with their oldest son who is 6 1/2 years younger.
Sunday, July 4, 2010 – A long day spent at the lake with family and then going down to the amphitheater on the lake to enjoy the big fireworks show.
