God gives us texture. We see and feel it literally.
The smooth skin of a newborn baby girl.
The texture of a metal building.
Yet He gives us texture in so many other ways.
The beauty found in tears and brokenness.
The grace in a simple hello from a friend whose friendship was lost.
A softened heart and answered prayer.
Texture found in nature brings interest and dimension. Decorators use texture to add definition and depth to a space. It gives beauty.
I find more and more God using textures in my life to do the same. He loves us too much to allow our lives to remain flat. Too much to allow our lives to remain shallow. Too much to allow our lives to be lived without beauty.
Where do you find texture in your life?
Linking up with xoxo, Trina for Photo Friday.
